About “BJLS”

BJLS (Beppu Japanese Language School) was established in the year 2009 with generous support from the Yoneyama Rotary Club in Japan. Located in the peaceful town of Kakkapalliya, Sri Lanka, our school has been dedicated to providing quality Japanese language education to students with dreams of studying and living in Japan.Over the past two decades, more than 500 students have graduated from BJLS and successfully continued their journeys as international students in Japan. Many of our alumni are now working and contributing to society across Japan, building strong cultural bridges between our two nations.

At BJLS, we are committed not only to teaching the Japanese language but also to sharing Japanese culture and values. Our mission is to guide students toward a bright future through language, discipline, and international understanding.
